Arche uses cookies only where they are needed to run the product. Optional analytics stay off until you accept them.
What cookies are
Small files stored by your browser.
A cookie is a short note the site asks your browser to keep — usually a session id, a preference, or a consent choice. It is not an app, and it cannot see the rest of your phone. On the next visit, the browser sends that note back so Arche can recognise the same session.
Essential
Always on — needed to sign you in.
When you sign in, Supabase stores a secure session cookie so you stay logged in across pages. Without it, Profile, My vehicle, and saved cars cannot work. These cookies are first-party, not used for ads, and we do not ask consent to set them because they are required for the service you requested.
Optional
Analytics only if you Accept.
We do not run advertising cookies. Product analytics (page views, which chargers people find) are not on yet. If you tap Accept, we may add them later to improve the map. If you tap Essential only, those scripts never load.
Location
A browser permission, not a cookie.
Find a charger can use your phone's GPS, or a place you type (Westlands, JKIA, Karen). Typed places are looked up through OpenStreetMap so we can turn them into coordinates. We use those coordinates to list matching charger types and pick the closest; we do not store a live tracking cookie. The in-app map loads tiles from OpenFreeMap (OpenStreetMap) and a driving line from a public routing service. We only open Google Maps if you tap that optional link.
